We use four key guidelines to design our pollinator gardens. First, we use native plant species—at least 70% of the plants in each of our projects are indigenous to the Southeast. This ensures local pollinators can get the nutrients they need. Second, we include a variety of plant species to attract a greater variety of pollinators. Third, we make sure the range of plants we use also includes a range of colors, because different pollinators see different spectra. Fourth, after we have installed your new pollinator garden, we’ll offer advice on how to maintain it without using pesticides.

We have been incredibly impressed by Garden Environments! This was our first experience having any sort of extensive landscaping work completed, and we were honestly overwhelmed. We were initially drawn to them for their commitment to using native plants, as supporting the environment is very important to us. With somewhat vague ideas as to what we were looking for, they were able to come up with a beautiful, and functional, design. Every step of the process was carefully overseen and implemented, with great care taken for our property. They also re-used items from our yard, took care not to remove more plants or trees than were necessary, and even re-planted things where it made sense. It was such a relief to be able to hand over the decision-making and know that we were in good hands. Locke did an amazing job, and we are very impressed with the outcome. The install team was very professional and helped make some last minute adjustments. Our yard looks wonderful - the end product exceeded my expectations! I would definitely recommend. Just be aware that landscape designers are in high demand, and it could be a long wait time between the initial consult and getting started with a landscape designer.

The design team was very willing to adjust initial designs to better fit our vision. The installation team was top notch: efficient; took to the time to make sure it was done right; cleaned up when done and followed up.We also had Garden Environments do the maintenance after install. I can't speak highly enough of that. We had multiple previous companies that would do the minimum (rush in and rush out; need to be 'reminded' to complete certain tasks). Not so with Garden Environments. They take their time to see what needs to be addressed and they do it without having to be instructed. They tend to the landscape rather than just service it.
